This course prepares young and emerging adults with real-world skills for independence and long-term success. Students build financial literacy, master budgeting, understand credit and debt, and develop time management, resume writing, interview techniques, and entrepreneurial thinking to confidently navigate life beyond the classroom.

Offered through the LionLike Institute of the Arts, Life Ready equips participants with practical tools for adulthood—bridging the gap between school and the real world. This program empowers students to take ownership of their future through financial responsibility, strong communication, job readiness, and mindset training.

Our Journey:
Foundation, Application, Execution
This 13-week program is divided into three progressive phases that guide participants from understanding the essentials to applying them in real time. Designed by educators, entrepreneurs, and mentors with a heart for empowerment.
- Foundation (Weeks 1–6): Students explore identity, purpose, mindset, emotional intelligence, and money management basics
- Application (Weeks 7–10): Participants build practical skills like budgeting, resume creation, job prep, and time organization
- Execution (Weeks 11–13): Students finalize a personalized “Life Ready Plan,” rehearse interviews, present vision boards or life roadmaps, and prepare for next steps beyond the program
